What Does Credit Repair Actually Cost in 2026?
The short answer: credit repair is sold two ways. Monthly dispute services run roughly $70–$150 a month with no defined end date. Program-based coaching is a fixed total, commonly $500–$2,000 depending on length. The monthly model usually costs more overall, because nothing about it rewards finishing quickly.
The monthly model and why it drifts
A monthly service charges for activity, not for outcomes. Disputes go out, some items come off, and the subscription continues. There is no point at which the provider is meant to be done, and no financial reason for them to hurry.
Twelve months at $99 is $1,188. People rarely think of it that way when they sign up, because $99 sounds small.
The program model
A program has a defined length and a defined total. You know at the start what you are paying and roughly when it ends. Mr Never Stop programs are structured this way:
- $100 — Business Strategy Consultation, a single session mapping your position.
- $750 — Momentum, two to three months.
- $1,000 — Growth, three to five months, repair plus first funding steps.
- $1,200 — Success, six to eight months, repair through to fundable.
- $1,500 — Excellence, twelve months, full rebuild plus funding strategy.
Longer programs cost more because they cover more ground, not because the disputes take longer. The later tiers are where business funding work sits.
What should never cost you anything
- Your credit reports. Free weekly from all three bureaus at AnnualCreditReport.com.
- Filing your own disputes. Free, directly with the bureaus.
- Advance fees. Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act, a credit repair organisation cannot charge you before the service is performed. A consultation you book and attend is a performed service. A fee for repair work not yet done is a different thing entirely.
Yes, you can dispute your own report for free. Plenty of people do it successfully. What you are paying a coach for is knowing which items are worth challenging, what to do about the accurate ones, and what to do next — not the postage.
How to read a quote
Ask what the total is, not what the monthly is. Ask what happens at the end. Ask what is not included. A quote that cannot answer those three is not a quote, it is an opening position.
